International Airport Gregorio Luperon

Only 30 minutes from Ocean World is the International Airport Gregorio Luperon, (POP) This is one of the major air terminals for tourism in the Dominican Republic. With a track of 3.081 meters long x 46 meters wide, POP is capable of receiving wide body aircraft, including the B-747 and A-340. The passenger terminal is 27.075 meters square, with the capacity to handle 1,200 passengers per hour. The airport is located in La Union town of Sosua 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Plata, 10 minutes from Sosua and approximately 25 minutes from Cabarete.
